Career

Elena Redolfi graduated with a BSc in Biology, then got an advanced degree in Biotechnology. She worked as a researcher in molecular biology of human neurological diseases in Italian public institutions for several years. Since 2000 she has been involved in regulatory risk assessment. She has contributed to international
workshops concerned with scientific developments in ecotoxicology and ecological risk assessment.

SETAC Involvement

Member of SETAC since 2006. Attended and presented research at several SETAC EU conferences and the launching meeting of the SETAC African Branch.

Motivation for standing for election

Participation as a regulatory representative for the Southern European countries.
